Your guide has hunted with and shown his skills to some of the best hunters in New England. Steve's highest regarded turkey hunt was hunting turkey with Legendary Buck Tracker, Lane Benoit, from Vermont in 2009. Steve and Lane are good friends, Lane has taught Steve many big buck tracking tricks, when Lane started turkey hunting in Maine, Steve was there to lay a few turkey talking tricks of his own, sending Lane home with a nice Maine gobbler!
Steve scouts 12 months out of the year so you don't have too! Watching our turkey flocks in the areas we hunt, from the time the hunting season ends through the following season, Steve is always keeping his eyes and ears ready for turkey sightings. By scouting all year long we have a good idea what will be available for the upcoming seasons! In Maine we have a 2 bearded turkey limit during our spring hunt and a fall archery and shotgun season for one bird of either sex, giving Maine hunters an exceptional Eastern Turkey hunting opportunity spring and fall!
Steve is an excellent turkey caller and have all the tools in his bag of tricks to hunt the woods turkeys that Maine has to offer for an exceptional turkey hunting experience! For an additional fee, we offer filmed turkey hunts, ask us in advance of your hunt for filming availability.
